Aamu Advisory
Board and executive advisory on AI

An advisor in the room when AI decisions are made.

We sit with boards and executive teams as an outside advisor on artificial intelligence: what to decide, what to leave alone, and how to govern it. Ongoing counsel, board roles and reviews — not consulting projects.

Three assessments, fixed in scope.

Bounded pieces of work with a defined output, a fixed fee and a date. The usual way to start.

AI maturity assessment

Where the organisation actually stands against its peers: capability, data, governance and the way decisions get made. A structured assessment against an established model, delivered as a picture the board can read and a short list of what to fix first.

4–6 weeks · fixed fee

AI governance review

An independent read on the governance model already in place: accountabilities, policies, risk practice and reporting, tested against the EU AI Act, NIS2 and the board’s duty of care. What holds, what does not, and what to do before the next audit.

3–5 weeks · fixed fee

Impact and value assessment

What the AI investment has actually delivered — and what it plausibly can. An evaluation of realised benefits, the measures behind them, and the assumptions in the business case, so the next investment decision rests on evidence.

Why Aamu

No technology to sell.

We are vendor-neutral, take no commissions and staff no delivery teams. The judgement is the product.

Where accountability sits.

We work at board and executive level, on the questions that carry accountability — not pilots and proofs of concept.

Academic research and practice.

Broad experience in academic research, operational and business responsibilities as well as board work help to navigate toward the right direction.

How we work

How the work is arranged.

01

A conversation

45 minutes, no charge. You describe the situation; we say whether an outside advisor helps here, and in what form.

02

A form and a rhythm

A board or advisory seat, a standing monthly session, a review twice a year, or a single workshop or keynote. Agreed in advance, with a fixed fee.

03

Renewed, not extended

Advisory work is agreed for a term and reviewed at the end of it. Ending is a normal outcome, not a failure.
